Two hopeless romantics.

One reckless dream.

Born in Salt Lake City. Rebuilt in Portland.
Thee Bad Romantics are a glam-fueled live band bringing passion, spectacle, and connection back to live music.

Before Thee Bad Romantics, there was SoulFang.

A collision of seventies soul and modern rock, their debut album Passion, Potions, Wicked Lullabies released in summer 2024.

Then Lulu walked in.

One karaoke night became rehearsals. Rehearsals became chemistry. Chemistry became a story neither of them saw coming.

Like all good rock and roll stories, things got dramatic.

Before Portland, before Thee Bad Romantics, there was SoulFang.

Sam built the band in Salt Lake City as a fusion of seventies soul and modern rock. The band's debut album (Passion, Potions, Wicked Lullabies) released in the summer of 2024.

Then Lulu walked into the picture.

One karaoke night turned into rehearsals. Rehearsals turned into chemistry. Chemistry turned into chaos, late nights, loud music, and a story neither of them saw coming.

Like all good rock and roll stories, things got dramatic.

Armed with grit, blind optimism, and entirely too much gear, Sam and Lulu packed up their lives and headed for Portland.

Because Portland felt like the kind of city where a glam rock love story could still exist.

Through sheer
will, grit, and a
refusal to play
small, the lineup came together.

Amanda Simonson on drums.

Nick Gilmarelli on guitar.

Together, they became Thee Bad Romantics: a glam-rock live band built for big feelings, loud crowds, and unforgettable nights.
